A photography project inspired by my research
These shots are inspired by the research I have done for this project. I took from aspects of what Simone de Beauvoir teaches, that women have a false sense of freedom in society. The shadows in these images are supposed to imitate bars to reflect the trapped nature of womanhood. Society has placed hidden restrictions on what it is to be a women.
